This is the only “ice cream” my toddler has ever known. I make it for him and have to tell myself not to overindulge in it myself!
If you want to be sneaky, it’s easy to add in some collagen powder for protein, probiotic powder for gut health or greens powder for flower power.
Smoothie Ice Cream
Blend 1 and a half to 2 frozen bananas with one large avocado, a can of coconut milk and whatever greens you have laying around. I like to add cinnamon, too. It helps to balance blood sugar from all the fruit sugar.
Place all ingredients in a blender.
This can be eaten immediately in a soft-serve consistency or can be placed in a glass jar in the freezer for a frosty treat. Just let it defrost on the counter for a couple of minutes first.
